Our individual reef service offers a dedicated memorial for your pet’s ashes, offering a more intimate service to commemorate your loved one.With no fuss and everything taken care of for you, having your own memorial reef makes the tribute even more special — A unique, personal way to honour your pet, ensuring their memory becomes a part of something living and thriving. Our next reef is scheduled for placement in Bali in February 2025. Orders for this service are currently available only in the UK and should be placed by January 25th.

Our memorial service includes:

An Individual Memorial: An exclusive reef for only your pet’s ashes. This option allows you to decide the amount of ashes you wish to memorialise, accommodating up to 3kg of ashes.

A Personalised Plaque: Your beloved pet’s name engraved on a metallic plaque placed directly on the memorial reef.

Personalised Support throughout the journey: With our team being with you every step of the way, offering guidance, assistance, and care.

Placement and Tracking: We'll provide you with the GPS location of your reef so you can visit or geolocate it online anytime.

Ongoing Updates: Receive regular and exclusive underwater footage showing marine life and the reef's impact on the ocean and Bali's local communities.

Add a portion of ashes to your miniature reef

Carry a piece of your beloved pet with you, by adding ashes to your miniature reef. Each keepsake is carefully crafted by hand, to integrate carefully the ashes into a beautifully personalised miniature reef. While the larger Community Reef becomes a thriving habitat for marine life, this unique miniature allows you to hold onto a tangible connection with your pet, wherever you go.

How it works

After completing your order online, you'll receive a digital certificate to share with loved ones, followed by an ashes collection pack in the mail. The pack fits up to 50g of ashes, includes a secure sealing top, and a return label to ship back to Resting Reef.

Once we receive the ashes, they are carefully transported to our restoration site to be memorialised. (*If you selected the miniature keepsake option with ashes, we’ll craft this for you as well.)

After the memorial reef is placed underwater, you'll receive ongoing updates of the restoration work and your miniature in the mail, a beautiful, tangible representation of your pet's memorial.
